Position: Behaviour Support Practitioner - Sunshine Coast

Chelcie is a compassionate Behaviour Support Practitioner with a wealth of experience in the disability support sector. With a background as a Disability Support Worker, Chelcie has gained invaluable experience working with individuals of all ages, including adults, adolescents and children with autism and ADHD.

Chelcie has a keen interest in developing positive social and emotional outcomes for her clients and is committed to providing evidence-based support strategies that are tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual.

Her experience includes:

  • Implementing behaviour support plans
  • Working collaboratively with families and support networks
  • Coordinating support as part of a multidisciplinary team

In addition to her professional experience, Chelcie has run weekly kids craft workshops, which have enabled children to explore their creativity while developing essential social skills. She has also volunteered as a teacher in a weekly kids class that focused on teaching positive morals and values.

“I love helping people reach their potential by facilitating their choices and supporting them as they achieve their goals,” she says.

Based in Mooloolaba, Chelcie is supporting NDIS participants across the Sunshine Coast.
