Ability Action Australia

NDIS Therapeutic Supports Provider

Claire, Behaviour Support Practitioner

Claire Watson

Position: Behaviour Support Practitioner - Sydney

Claire is a dedicated and empathetic Behaviour Support Practitioner with Ability Action Australia.

Claire has a profound understanding of the challenges faced by people living with disability, which stems from growing up with family members with disabilities that affected their physical and intellectual functioning. As a clinician, this gives Claire a unique perspective and experience in interacting and assisting participants with disability.

Before joining Ability Action Australia, she gained valuable experience in childcare, where she honed her interpersonal and caregiving skills. Additionally, Claire served as a Junior Behaviour Therapist, where she provided behaviour support to primary school-aged participants.

In her role, Claire can provide support through:

  • Developing the participants skills
  • Assisting participants in achieving their goals
  • Working with families and caregivers

“I love seeing people grow and realise their potential, as they learn new skills and become more independent.”

Based in Penrith, Claire is looking forward to supporting NDIS participants in Penrith and Parramatta.
