Head shot of Georgia Groves

Georgia Groves

Position: Occupational Therapist - Brisbane

Georgia has worked with NDIS participants for over four years, providing occupational therapy services to babies, children, adults and older adults in the community.

She has experience working with autism spectrum disorder, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, genetic conditions, global developmental delay, intellectual impairment, stroke, physical impairments, and dysgraphia.

Georgia supports people to build their daily living skills and reach their full potential. She has delivered ongoing therapy to NDIS participants to build skills within their goal areas through the use of:

  • Functional capacity assessments using the Adaptive Behaviour Assessment System
  • Stroke rehabilitation using the Modified Barthel Index
  • Brain injury rehabilitation using the Care and Needs Scale
  • Developmental delay assessment using the Developmental Assessment of Young Children test

She loves being able to advocate for people who don’t have the accessor ability to advocate for themselves. She finds assisting people to build their skills to achieve their goals extremely rewarding.

Georgia is thrilled to be supporting NDIS participants across north Brisbane.
