Janine Lee

Janine is a Speech Pathologist with a passion for building strong relationships with participants as they progress along their therapeutic journey. She has supported adults with mealtime management, along with individuals of all ages living with a range of conditions.

As part of her role with Ability Action Australia, it’s Janine’s job to assess, diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions that affect speech, language, swallowing, voice, and fluency. She works with diverse populations, including children with developmental delays, adults recovering from strokes or injuries, individuals with speech impediments, and those facing communication challenges due to conditions like autism or Alzheimer’s disease.

Janine contributes significantly to fostering effective communication, bolstering self-esteem, and promoting social integration for individuals across the lifespan. She does this by:

• Collaborating with families, caregivers and other professionals
• Carrying out assessments
• Creating personalised therapy plans

“I love working with people from all walks of life, and building trusting relationships with participants so I can support them to achieve their goals,” she says.

Janine is excited to be supporting NDIS participants across metropolitan Sydney.
