Position: Occupational Therapist - Norwood

Karen is an experienced Occupational Therapist with a long career spanning over 30 years in public health, hospital, aged care, and inhome settings.

Some of the Occupational Therapy services Karen has provided over her career include:

  • Services for in-home and acute hospital clients
  • Assessing private and public buildings for accessibility
  • Cardiac rehabilitation, including stress management education
  • Adult cardiac, orthopaedic, neurological, palliative, and rheumatology experience
  • Hand Therapy and Splinting
  • Disability, dementia, and palliative case management
  • Prescribing Assistive Technology and Home Modifications
  • Providing training to Allied Health professionals, nursing staff, support workers, students, and community groups

Karen believes that everyone is unique and has their own personalities, dreams and goals, regardless of ability or disability.

Karen is based in Norwood and supports NDIS participants throughout north and north-east Adelaide.
