Quinn Reid

Quinn is a Behaviour Support Practitioner who has recently joined Ability Action Australia’s Canberra team after relocating from Albury.

Her prior experience includes three years in the Behaviour Support space, working with a range of clients aged 3 to 65.

During this time, Quinn worked with people living with a range of physical and mental conditions, including:

• Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
• Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
• Obsessive-compulsive Disorder (OCD)
• Intellectual Disability

In addition to providing therapeutic Interventions, Quinn also supports participants to gain the appropriate Behaviour Support funding by completing Behaviour Needs Assessments and then completing Interim and Comprehensive Behaviour Support Plans to help participants and their support network with strategies for reducing behaviours of concern.

Quinn loves helping people to understand their situation in a more positive light. She says: “It’s a really rewarding role to help teach people and their support network new skills and assist people to feel more empowered to reach and achieve their goals in life.”

Quinn is based in Dickson and supports NDIS participants throughout the ACT.
