NDIS Therapeutic Supports Provider

Sabrina Barutha occupational therapist Sydney

Sabrina Barutha

Position: Occupational Therapist - Sydney

Sabrina enjoys the opportunity to work with participants across all areas of their life, and finds it incredibly rewarding to see people do the things that are meaningful to them.

She has successfully completed a range of practical professional placements across paediatrics, aged care and rehabilitation, in both community- and hospital-based settings.

The placements involved working with people across the lifespan with conditions such as neurological disorders, dementia, developmental delay, acquired brain injury, intellectual disability and mental health.

Sabrina’s experience has involved performing the following:

  • Initial assessments
  • Functional assessments
  • Cognitive assessments
  • Self-care assessments

Additionally, Sabrina has experience as a disability support worker, providing support to adults living with cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, post-stroke rehabilitation, traumatic brain injury and schizophrenia in order to meet their NDIS goals.

She feels there is nothing better than supporting individuals to complete one small task or activity in their day, and seeing how this progress impacts their lives in such a positive way.

Sabrina is excited to be joining Ability Action Australia and is supporting participants throughout metro Sydney.
