Outreach in Action: Kangaroo Island
Since 2022, our team has provided on-site occupational therapy to participants in Kangaroo Island.
One participant, who experienced a stroke, faced challenges with everyday activities. Following a comprehensive assessment, our occupational therapist developed a personalised plan that included tailored interventions and assistive solutions, such as:
- An electric recliner chair to support independent movement
- A meal preparation station to enhance kitchen safety
- Assistive devices for dressing and showering
- A customised upper limb program to maintain strength
Today, this participant is more independent, engaged in daily activities, and empowered to live life on their terms.

How we deliver services

That’s why our outreach program is built on flexibility and consistency:
Scheduled visits
Our clinicians travel to your community for in-person therapy, typically every 2–6 weeks
Online support
Telehealth sessions are available between visits, helping you stay on track and maintain progress
