Ability Action Australia

NDIS Therapeutic Supports Provider

Bethanee Lowe

Position: Behaviour Support Practitioner - Dandenong

Bethanee is a Behaviour Support Practitioner with prior experience across the disability support, early education, and NDIS sectors.

In particular, Bethanee worked for eight years at an NDIS-registered early learning centre where she worked as lead practitioner for up to 12 clients at a time. During this time, she supported children with Autism and other developmental disorders, as well as their families, schools, kindergartens, and other community stakeholders. One of Bethanee’s career highlights so far was the opportunity to present at the ABA Today conference in October 2022.

As a dance teacher at a dancing school which supported inclusive dance, Bethanee worked with a range of children living with disability, making sure they were supported, felt involved in class and achieved their individual goals, no matter how big or small.

Bethanee’s favourite part of her job is “collaborating with people to help them meet their goals and maximise their capacity for independence so they can live a fulfilling and happy life with the right supports in place. I also love collaborating and learning new skills and tricks from staff from different background, expertise areas and experiences.”

Based in Dandenong, Bethanee supports NDIS participants throughout south-eastern Melbourne.
