Ability Action Australia
NDIS Therapeutic Supports Provider
Brian has extensive experience supporting people into meaningful employment, and strong networks with employers across metropolitan Perth.
Before joining Ability Action Australia, he worked with the atWork Australia JobActive program, getting to know job seekers and working closely with them to identify career goals and the pathways to achieving them. He connected people to education and training courses, referred them to our psychologists and career counsellors, and assisted them to become work-ready.
Brian also helped parents of children under the age of six to plan and prepare for employment by the time their child started school, through the ParentsNext program. He worked with his clients to help set education and employment goals, and linked them to services and activities in their local community.
He is skilled at working with people from different backgrounds and age groups, and helping them to overcome anxiety, lack of confidence and skills, connect them to suitable training opportunities, and find good work.
Volunteer work has long been a priority, with Brian working to support the Smith Family, the Trigg Surf Life Saving Club, the Auscontact Association, and Shenton College through their Friends
of Music group.
