NDIS Therapeutic Supports Provider
Heather’s role is to build and lead a team of high-performing multidisciplinary allied health practitioners who provide best-practice services to participants of the NDIS.
Before joining Ability Action Australia, Heather was the Project Manager for atWork Australia, responsible for positioning Jobactive for growth through a national tender process.
She arrived in Australia from South Africa, working as a senior clinician for Work Focus Australia before managing the JobAccess program for two years, overseeing 12 allied health team members.
In South Africa, Heather started her own private practice in vocational rehabilitation and medicolegal work, ultimately employing more than 10 allied health staff.
Heather is also a highly skilled and experienced occupational therapist, having worked to support those with difficulties engaging in the everyday activities of life for 23 years.

Heather feels her work contributes to the wellbeing of NDIS participants as well as society more broadly. “Small wins that have a positive impact on the world will make it a better place to live in for future generations,” she says.
