Ability Action Australia
NDIS Therapeutic Supports Provider
Jin’s role is to build and lead a team of high-performing multidisciplinary allied health practitioners who provide best-practice services to participants of the NDIS.
She spent nine years as a community therapist in the disability sector, with the last five years helping participants transition over to the NDIS and as a clinical lead.
Overall, Jin has 17 years of clinical experience as a physiotherapist, including 12 years in the health sector working within the in-patients, out-patients and emergency departments.
She was previously acting out-patients physiotherapy manager at Perth Children’s Hospital, and as clinical lead she led team education and training.
Over this time, Jin has worked with people across the lifespan living with physical disabilities such as cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophies and other genetic conditions, and children with developmental coordination disorders and developmental delays.
Jin has expertise in rehabilitation after orthopaedic surgeries and in spasticity management. She is experienced in walkers and standing frames prescription, gait analysis, serial casting and biomechanical assessments.
She loves helping people achieve their goals, watching young children achieve their developmental milestones and advocating on their behalf to enable changes either to practices and/or attitudes.
Jin supports NDIS participants across Perth’s northern suburbs.
