Lydia is a dedicated Behaviour Support Practitioner with a strong background in problem solving and a passion for helping others. She is currently completing her Bachelor of Psychology, which has provided her with a solid theoretical foundation for this role.
Prior to pursuing a career in positive behaviour support, Lydia worked as a Civil Engineer, honing her analytical and critical thinking skills. She has a proven track record of working collaboratively with others to find effective solutions to complex problems.
In addition to her professional experience, Lydia is also an experienced yoga teacher, having worked with individuals from all walks of life to promote movement, breath and mindfulness. This has helped her to develop patience, persistence and empathy, which are valuable qualities in any role that involves working with people.
Lydia is committed to making a positive impact in the lives of those she works with and is eager to continue growing her skills and knowledge in the field of positive behaviour support. In her role with Ability Action Australia, Lydia is able to:
