Rossella Colella

Position: Behaviour Support Practitioner - Dandenong

Hailing from Italy, Rossella is a Behaviour Support Practitioner with a long history of supporting vulnerable people in both her homeland and in Australia.

Her prior roles include supporting people with substance abuse and mental health diagnoses in residential care arrangements, as well as working in a women’s refuge supporting mothers and children experiencing mistreatment or abuse.

Rossella’s experience also includes:

  • Co-founding a mental health non-profit
  • Teaching roles
  • Employment consultancy (specialising in disability employment)

In addition to practical experience, Rossella also holds two Masters’ Degrees in teaching and education.

According to Rossella: “I believe in a world where fairness, equal opportunities and outstanding quality of life are experienced as the norm for everyone, regardless of their background. I will always be passionate and thrilled at the idea of advocating and upholding the rights of people with disability.”

Based in Dandenong, Rossella supports NDIS participants in the Mornington Peninsula.
