Ashleigh Rankin

Over the past four years, Ashleigh worked in a community setting, supporting NDIS participants to regain independence in everyday life.

She assisted people with a range of interventions, including:

• Minor and major home modifications
• Wheelchair prescription
• Manual handling
• Functional assessments
• Assistive technology prescription
• Life skills training

As well as supporting people living with disability, Ashleigh has helped older clients to live independently and safely, and members of the veteran community, over the course of her career.

She worked in a residential aged care setting as a team leader to assist with a range of services, including pain management, reviewing care plans, post fall reviews and pressure care.

As an Occupational Therapist with Ability Action Australia, Ashleigh feels very fortunate that she is able to assist people to live life the way they want to.

Based in Queensland, she is excited to be supporting NDIS participants in and around the Sunshine Coast.
