Eunice Muvindi

Before joining Ability Action Australia, Eunice worked at a rehabilitation centre that focused on the management of adult neurological clients with conditions such as spinal cord injuries, stroke and traumatic brain injuries.

Her role involved completing a number of different assessments, including functional assessments, cognitive assessments (orientation, attention, memory), assessments of neuro-physical components (pain, muscle tone, joint range of motion, balance), and assessment of psychosocial components (interests, coping strategies, and role performance).

In an earlier role, Eunice was involved in managing neurological conditions such as cerebral palsy and global developmental delay in children. She undertook assessments, used play therapy, facilitated milestones, and provided caregiver training on handling and positioning children during their daily activities.

Eunice loves seeing her clients become independent in their daily lives.

She is excited to be supporting NDIS participants across Mackay.
