Julie-Anna, Physiotherapist

Julie-Anna Pretti

Position: Physiotherapist - Sydney

Julie-Anna is a Physiotherapist with a passion for putting a smile on her patients’ faces. She has spent the past two years working with the NDIS, where she has been trained in hydrotherapy as well as treating neurological and musculoskeletal conditions.

Julie-Anna has supported participants across the lifespan – from 3 to 90 years old – but she is passionate about supporting children and young adults. She has experience supporting people living with a range of conditions, including cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, stroke, spinal cord injury, down syndrome and autism.

Previously, before working with the NDIS, Julie-Anna worked in a sports practice treating a range of musculoskeletal conditions, such as low back pain and rotator cuff injuries, as well as sports-related injuries, such as ankle sprains and common knee injuries.

As a Physiotherapist with Ability Action Australia, Julie-Anna can support participants with:

  • Assessing participants to determine the most effective support
  • Planning treatments to suit the individual’s needs
  • Carrying out recovery programs

“I love seeing the smile on patients’ faces when they achieve their goals, or a task, they have been unable to complete. I also enjoy seeing the genuine excitement when they feel proud of themselves,” she says.

Julie-Anna is supporting NDIS participants in Camden.
