Position: Speech Pathologist - Canberra

Abbey is an experienced Speech Pathologist with experience within the NDIS space supporting the unique communication needs of diverse individuals. Abbey’s primary focus has been on providing invaluable support to school-aged children, adolescents, and young adults, nurturing their communication skills and enhancing their quality of life.

Throughout her career, Abbey has displayed versatility by working across various settings, including clinics, schools, homes, day programs, and other community environments. This multifaceted experience has equipped her with a well-rounded perspective on addressing communication challenges in diverse contexts.

Abbey’s expertise spans multiple practice areas, including speech, language, augmentative and alternative communication, fluency, and social skills. Abbey has supported individuals living with a range of disability, including:

  • Autism
  • Intellectual disability
  • Down syndrome
  • Developmental disability

“I love working with a diverse range of people and their support networks. Building relationships with participant and watching them progress towards goals over a period of months or years is very rewarding,” she says.
