Amelia, Occupational Therapist

Amelia Coleman

Position: Occupational Therapist - Sydney

Amelia is an Occupational Therapist with a passion for working with paediatric participants, particularly those under early intervention.
She has assisted individuals ranging from 3 months to 18 years, predominantly with autism spectrum disorder and ADHD diagnoses.

She has experience across various delivery service models, including one-on-one sessions, joint sessions with other health providers, telehealth, and group-based therapy. Amelia is a Basic DIRFloortime Provider (through ICDL). She has also been involved in a rural outreach program, where she provided her services as an occupational therapist to a community
and school. Beyond direct client care, she has provided supervision
for university students and therapy assistants.

Throughout her career, Amelia has adeptly administered various assessments such as:

  • Sensory Profile
  • Movement ABC
  • Handwriting Speed Test
  • Berry-VMI
  • PEDI-CAT

Amelia loves “assisting others and seeing the progress they can make towards their goals, so they can maximise their life outcomes and achieve a level of independence.”

Amelia is looking forward to supporting NDIS participants in Newcastle and the Central Coast.
