Andy Chng

Andy is a Behaviour Support Practitioner with a passion for helping people. He is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in psychology, and is in his fourth year.

Andy has worked previously as a special needs teachers assistant supporting adolescents, particularly those diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). This role provided him with insights into the individualised support techniques needed to suit the unique needs of each student.

In his current position, Andy can foster positive change through supporting participants in achieving their goals. He can provide support through:

• Conducting assessments to understand suitable supports
• Developing and implementing behaviour support plans
• Creating tailored interventions

Andy says “I enjoy enabling people to get as much as they can out of life. I often find myself building genuine connections with the people I support.”

Based in Herdsman, Andy is looking forward to supporting NDIS participants across metropolitan northern Perth.
