Annette Lewinski

Position: NDIS Key Worker - Penrith

Early Childhood Education has been a strong passion of Annette’s since Year 8 at high school. She has eight years of study in Early Childhood Education, achieving a Bachelor of Teaching (Early childhood) in 2016.

Annette has worked with children who have additional needs, working alongside their families and educators to support the children to fully engage in Early Learning, After School Care, Vacation Care and Primary School, and various other local community settings. Annette also has children in her own family who have additional needs which adds to her lived expertise. Annette has held a variety of roles throughout her career, including 1:1 SLSO, Educator, Family Day Care Teacher, Vacation Care Educator and Co-ordinator, Director/Nominated Supervisor, and Preschool Teacher at Early Learning Services.

Her favourite role has been Key Worker Therapist since 2021. She has experience supporting children 0-9 years old with:

  • Global development delay
  • Autism level 1-3, ADHD
  • OCD, ODD, Sensory Processing Disorder
  • Cerebral Palsy, Non-verbal
  • Speech/communication delays and behaviour challenges

Annette adopts strength-based practices and social theories of learning to support children, carers and families succeed at achieving whatever is most important to them in their daily life.
