Areeba Awan

Areeba is a Behaviour Support Practitioner driven by a passion for aiding others.

With a background as a constable in the New South Wales Police Force for nearly four years, she has developed a unique insight and comprehension of human behaviours, enhancing her ability to empathise and connect with clients facing a diverse range of challenges.

Areeba has two years’ experience working as a Behaviour Support Practitioner, during which time she has been providing assistance to individuals of all ages under the NDIS.

In her role with Ability Action Australia, Areeba can support participants with:

• Behavioural assessments
• Evidence-based clinical management and intervention
• Behavioural strategy development and implementation

“I love that I can provide hope and support to families and individuals to live a better quality of life. My main priority is to assist individuals in achieving their goals, and focus on their strengths which can be turned into positive lifelong skills.”

Based in Camden, Areeba is excited to be making a difference in the lives of NDIS clients across the South West of the Greater Sydney Region.
