Position: Occupational Therapist - Melbourne

Bonnie is an accomplished Occupational Therapist with extensive experience across the field. She spent more than a decade of dedicated service in the public hospital system in Hong Kong, during which she worked across various facets of patient care including acute in-patient care, out-patient care, and home care support.

She has a special interest in aiding individuals living with physical issues that require assistive aids or comprehensive home modifications, both structural and non-structural.

In addition to her clinical roles, Bonnie has dedicated two years to teaching Occupational Therapy at the university level, instructing both bachelor’s and master’s students. In this role, she also conducted clinical supervision during the students’ clinical placements.

In her role with Ability Action Australia, Bonnie is able to support clients through:

  • Tailored treatment plans
  • Assistive technology assessments
  • Home modifications

Bonnie loves supporting people with disability because “it is fulfilling and rewarding. There is always a mutual benefit when we help others.”

She is looking forward to working with NDIS participants across Melbourne’s North East.
