Position: Behaviour Support Practitioner - Melbourne

With a strong background in disability support work, Cecilia has worked extensively with adults living with cerebral palsy, spina bifida, schizophrenia, intellectual disability and epilepsy. Her work with clients from diverse backgrounds has equipped her with the ability to provide tailored support and care to meet the unique needs of clients.

As a dedicated professional, Cecilia is committed to helping her clients achieve their goals and live their best lives. Her expertise in supporting NDIS participants in getting out into the community and completing daily tasks has been invaluable to her clients, and her ability to create supportive and empathetic relationships with them has helped them feel empowered and encouraged.

Cecilia’s experience as a Disability Support Worker has given her a deep understanding of the complexities of disability and the challenges that individuals and their families face. Her psychological training has allowed her to provide therapeutic support to her clients, assisting them in developing strategies to manage their conditions and improve their overall wellbeing. In her current role, she can support participants with:

  • Functional behaviour assessments
  • Evidence-based interventions
  • Reports tailored to NDIS requirements
