Elva Ma

Elva is a Behaviour Support Practitioner with extensive experience in both the public and private sectors supporting children and adults.

Prior to joining Ability Action Australia, Elva worked as a Disability Support Worker, where she assisted with daily living activities in residential and public settings.

Elva has also worked with the Department of Human Services as a Social Worker, where she collaborated with disadvantaged families with vulnerable children to address child protection concerns and mitigate potential risks.

Elva also has experience working directly with children as a Youth Worker with the Department for Child Protection, where she supervised daily activities and provided emotional and behavioural support to youth in residential care.

When asked about her favourite part of supporting people with disability, Elva replied: “being part of a person’s growth journey and assisting them to achieve their goals; seeing people thrive.”

Elva is based in Norwood, and supports NDIS participants throughout Adelaide and its suburbs.
