Emily Hatzis

Emily is an accomplished Occupational Therapist and Team Leader with significant experience working with clients of all ages, and living with a range of disabilities.

She has a rich background in paediatric care, where she supported individuals living with autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, global developmental delay, Down syndrome, intellectual impairment and more. She also has a wealth of experience supporting adults with intellectual impairments and other mental health diagnoses.

Working within a trauma-informed framework, Emily has been able to support children who are involved with child safety services as well.

At Ability Action Australia, Emily can provide report writing and assessment services within the NDIS space, such as:

• NDIS plan review reports
• Functional capacity assessments
• Supported living assessments
• Assistive technology applications

Emily says “I love family-centred care and building strong therapeutic relationships with my clients and their families so that I can see the clients grow, develop, and achieve their goals over time.”

Emily is supporting NDIS participants across the Gold Coast region.
