Position: Behaviour Support Practitioner - Hunter New England

Emily is a Behaviour Support Practitioner with a strong foundation in customer service and over two years’ experience providing behaviour support services. With a career spanning over a decade, Emily is experienced supporting participants to overcome the challenges they face.

Her expertise encompasses a broad spectrum, ranging from conducting functional behaviour assessments to crafting comprehensive Interim and comprehensive behaviour support plans. Emily’s ability to analyse complex behavioural patterns and design tailored interventions is a testament to her proficiency in the field.

Her dedication to her clients is evident in her work with individuals across the age spectrum, from children to adults, who present with a variety of disability, including:

  • Autism spectrum disorder
  • Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder
  • Oppositional defiant disorder
  • Intellectual disability
  • Bipolar disorder

“I find happiness in seeing the positive impact that can be made and the changes that occur when individuals are provided with the support they require,” she says.

Based in Tamworth, Emily is supporting NDIS participants across Hunter New England.
