NDIS Therapeutic Supports Provider

Georgina Sticpewich

Position: Behaviour Support Practitioner - Brisbane

Georgina has worked in the community services industry for the last two and a half years, starting as a Therapeutic Care Worker supporting young people aged 8-18 in residential care. The young people Georgina supported presented with complex trauma with varied diagnoses.

Since then, Georgina has worked in the Positive Behaviour Support space, working with both young people and adults. She has experience working with people presenting with ASD, ID, ADHD, anxiety, scoliosis, and other diagnoses.

Georgina utilises a range of behaviour assessments to gain data around the function of behaviour, which is then used to help develop strategies. Behaviour assessments include:

  • Adaptive Behaviour Assessment System (ABAS)
  • Questions About Behaviour Function (QABF)
  • Functional Assessment Staging Tool (FAST)
  • Cognitive Assessment Interview (CAI)
  • Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire (SDQ)

Georgina enjoys helping people to become proud of themselves and grow their confidence, celebrating wins and progress no matter how small they are. She supports clients across the Brisbane region.
