Position: Behaviour Support Practitioner - Brisbane

Grace is Behaviour Support Practitioner with 15 months’ experience in the field of positive behaviour support. She has worked with clients living with a wide range of disability, and whilst most of her clients have been adults, she has experience working with children and continues to develop her skills in this area.

Throughout her career, Grace has supported participants with autism, intellectual disability, Down syndrome, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, borderline personality disorder, Lewy body dementia, schizophrenia, anxiety, depression, body dysmorphic disorder and receptive and expressive language disorders.

As a Behaviour Support Practitioner at Ability Action Australia, Grace’s dedication and commitment to her role enables her to make a positive impact on the lives of her participants and their families. She supports participants in a number of ways, including:

  • Developing and implementing plans that meet clients’ needs
  • Collaborating with participants, families, and other professionals
  • Providing ongoing support and training to relevant stakeholders

“I believe that every individual deserves to live their life to the fullest potential, and my role as a Behaviour Support Practitioner allows me to help my clients achieve this. I love improving my clients’ quality of life and health and wellbeing,” she says.

Based in North Lakes, Grace is supporting NDIS participants across North Brisbane.
