Grace Rinkin

Grace Rinkin is a Therapy Assistant with a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to the field of disability support and therapy. With a solid background as a Disability Support Worker, she has dedicated the past three years to making a positive impact on the lives of adolescents facing intellectual and physical disability.

Her journey towards a career in occupational therapy is marked by her invaluable experiences gained during clinical placements, including a placement with Ability Action Australia. These placements have provided her with a comprehensive understanding of the healthcare industry, specifically in the areas of aged care and adult mental health.

As a Therapy Assistant, Grace plays a crucial role in supporting therapists in providing rehabilitation and therapeutic services to individuals with various medical conditions or disability. Her responsibilities include:

• Supporting participants with treatment implementation
• Monitoring the progress of participants
• Providing participants with information and instructions

“I love helping people achieve their goals, and it’s always rewarding to see how proud their support networks are of them,” she says.

Grace is supporting NDIS participants across Hunter New England.
