NDIS Therapeutic Supports Provider

Jack Boardman occupational therapist Brisbane

Jack Boardman

Position: Occupational Therapist - Brisbane

Jack is a fully qualified Occupational Therapist after graduating from the University of Queensland with Honours in 2021. During the course of his studies, he gained practical experience working with people living with disability across the lifespan.

He has worked with children living with intellectual disability and learning difficulties in school settings, where he developed his skills and gained experience conducting a variety of assessments.

These include:

  • BOT-2 for assessing fine motor skills
  • Beery VMI for assessing visual and motor development
  • TVPS for testing visual perception skills

Jack has also worked with adults in a rehabilitation setting, supporting people who experienced stroke. His assessment experience working within this setting includes the Oxford Cognitive Screen, the MBI for measuring independence in activities of daily living, range of motion testing and manual muscle testing assessments.

“If I can help support a person to improve one aspect of their life by allowing them to engage in something meaningful to them, then I know that I’m doing my job right,” Jack says.

He is thrilled to be on board at Ability Action Australia, supporting NDIS participants throughout Brisbane’s south.
