Position: Behaviour Support Practitioner - Melbourne

Jeanne is a skilled Behaviour Support Practitioner with a strong background in providing NDIS support coordination and mental health support services.

With over six months of experience in each of these roles, Jeanne has developed a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by individuals with intellectual disability, global developmental delay, autism, schizophrenia, and psychosocial disability.

Jeanne has a proven track record of success in working closely with individuals to develop and implement effective support plans that help them achieve their goals and improve their quality of life. She has experience conducting initial and progress reports for NDIS and is adept at providing ongoing support and guidance to her participants throughout the implementation process.

Jeanne is committed to providing the highest quality of care to her participants. She is a natural problem solver, able to quickly identify issues and develop creative solutions that address the unique needs of each individual she works with. In her role with Ability Action Australia, she can support participants by:

  • Providing assessments to understand causes of behaviours
  • Educating and training to the participant’s support network
  • Developing individualised behaviour support plans

“I love to get to know participants as individuals. I want to know and support them to reach their dreams one step at a time,” she says.
