Position: Behaviour Support Practitioner - Sydney

Jessica is a seasoned professional with 13 years of invaluable experience in the disability sector. Her journey began as a support worker, where she provided care to adults with various disabilities, gaining a deep understanding of their diverse needs and challenges.

Progressing in her career, she assumed the role of Day Program Coordinator, where she crafted engaging, tailored programs.
Her dedication and leadership skills were marked when she advanced to the role of State Manager, where she oversaw the operations of disability services on a broader scale.

With a versatile skill set, Jessica has assisted both adults and children as a support coordinator. Additionally, her expertise extends to managing NDIS Reportable Incidents and Restrictive Practices, where she spent two years ensuring compliance and promoting well-being and safety.

In her role with Ability Action Australia, Jessica can:

  • Carry out assessments
  • Create behaviour support plans
  • Collaborate with participants’ support networks

Jessica loves supporting people with disabilities as well as their families and support networks, allowing their quality of life to increase, and reducing the barriers impacting their life.

Based in Penrith, Jessica is looking forward to supporting participants across Western Sydney.
