Position: Senior Speech Pathologist - Newcastle

Kate is a Senior Speech Pathologist who firmly believes in the importance of promoting inclusivity and supporting individuals to achieve their unique goals. Her passion for her work is evident in her commitment to empowering NDIS participants and guiding them towards functional outcomes that enhance their overall wellbeing.

With more than a decade of experience in paediatrics and having worked with NDIS participants since its inception, Kate brings a wealth of knowledge in working with a range of disability, including:

  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
  • Chromosomal differences
  • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
  • Developmental delay

Kate can utilise her experience and a range of techniques to support participants, including receptive and expressive language, pragmatics, speech sounds, phonological awareness, AAC and feeding.

“I love working with children and their families to assist the whole family for very functional outcomes. It’s fantastic to assist people to be included in their education settings and in the community, to work towards their individual goals,” she says.

Kate is excited to be supporting NDIS participants in Newcastle.
