Position: Behaviour Support Practitioner - Wollongong

Kelsey is a Behaviour Support Practitioner with a diverse background in the NDIS field. She began her journey as a Mental Health Support Worker, providing valuable assistance to individuals with disability.

Her passion for advocating for people with disability led her to specialise in helping individuals access the NDIS, ensuring they receive the appropriate services and support. As a Support Coordinator, Kelsey skilfully connected her clients with the services they needed, facilitating their journey towards achieving their goals.

Driven by her dedication to empowering individuals and families, Kelsey pursued further qualifications and is now a certified Behaviour Support Practitioner. Her career in positive behaviour support started in paediatrics and has expanded to encompass all age groups. Kelsey focuses on supporting individuals with complex behaviours and restrictive practices, using her skills to develop effective strategies for positive outcomes.

She can support participants with:

  • Tailored interventions
  • Behaviour assessments
  • Support planning

“My goal is to have an impact on someone’s life, whether it’s big or small,” she says.

Kelsey is excited to be supporting NDIS participants in Illawarra.
