Nicola Postol

Nicola is an accomplished physiotherapist with many years of valuable experience. She has worked extensively in all the medical areas relating to physiotherapy, including respiratory, neurology and general medicine, but her work has primarily been in neurorehabilitation.

She is dedicated to continuous growth in her field, and this has led her to inhabiting a wide variety of roles ranging from management, lecturing, senior clinician, and to research as well. She is driven by a desire to achieve the best outcomes possible for her patients, particularly those with severe mobility impairment due to neurological conditions. It is this passion that inspired her to undertake and complete her PhD.

In her role with Ability Action Australia, Nicola will be leading the physiotherapy team and assisting them with:

• Skill development
• Optimising outcomes for patients
• Their learning journeys

Nicola’s experience gives her a unique standing in her field, and equips her with the skills needed to bring her passions of research, technology, and excellence in clinical care to life.

Nicola looks forward to serving the AAA team nationwide in this remote role as Clinical Lead.
