Peter Borthwick

Peter is a Psychologist with over 13 years of experience empowering individuals to build the life they deserve.

With beginnings in child protection and foster care, Peter developed his skills in understanding and addressing the unique needs of children, adolescents, adults and families. He has diverse experience working with refugees and asylum seekers, through his experiences in his master’s program (i.e., counselling, therapy, assessment and intervention), and in residential and foster care.

He understands the complexities of human behaviour and the barriers individuals face in accessing necessary support and resources. Whether in a clinical setting or through community programs, Peter has committed to help clients to develop their autonomy and independence.

Peter administers a range of cognitive and learning assessments and conducts psychosocial evaluations, ensuring that his support addresses the individual needs of his clients.

Peter believes in the power of collaboration and empowering individuals to interdependently manage their disabilities. Through guidance, Peter is dedicated to supporting his clients to access the support they need, enhancing quality of life.

Peter supports clients throughout Brisbane, Gold Coast, Ipswich and North Brisbane.
