Robin Paudyal

Position: Behaviour Support Practitioner - Gold Coast

Robin is a dedicated Behaviour Support Practitioner with extensive experience in the field. He has worked in a variety of roles, including as a Behaviour Support Practitioner, a Behaviour Therapist, a Mental Health Support Worker and a Suicide Prevention Campaign Counsellor and Facilitator.

Prior to joining Ability Action Australia, Robin worked as a Behaviour Support Practitioner for a psychology and rehabilitation services provider. In this role, he was responsible for creating rapport with clients, liaising with different stakeholders and making positive behaviour support plans for participants. He was also responsible for:

  • Functional behaviour assessments
  • Advocating for clients’ needs
  • Training staff to effectively implement support plans

He has supported participants living with a range of disability. During his time as a Behaviour Therapist, he worked with people living with severe obsessive compulsive disorder, autism, bipolar and aggressive behaviours. Robin also gained valuable experience of case planning, documentation of behaviour data, leasing with other stakeholders to facilitate the clients and advocating for the client.

“I love seeing participants living their best life. Being able to help them overcome their challenges is very rewarding,” he says.

Robin is supporting NDIS participants along the Gold Coast.
