Sean Murphy

Position: Occupational Therapist- Gold Coast

Sean has significant experience supporting people with mental health disability, reconstructive surgery and require scar management, hand therapy and aged care to improve their health and quality of life. He values working with adults and adolescents by improving their ability to take part in meaningful activities.

In his previous roles, Sean’s responsibilities included:

  • Initial assessments
  • Home assessments
  • Occupational analyses
  • Cognitive assessments

Sean likes to focus on each participant’s individual goals. He is inspired to help people accomplish things they didn’t think they could, and encourages participants to see every achievement, no matter how small, as a step in the right direction.

Sean is excited to be working with Ability Action Australia and NDIS participants across the Gold Coast area.
