Ability Action Australia

NDIS Therapeutic Supports Provider

HomeCareers – A bit about us

A bit about us

Ability Action Australia is an exciting, fast-paced new national provider of allied health services to the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

We offer outstanding occupational therapy and exercise physiology services, to help people improve their access, development and independence, and overall health and wellbeing, and function.

Our name says it all – we’re about focusing on the positive abilities of every person we support, and we take action to get the help that people need when they need it.

We want to fulfill the intent of the NDIS so our participants:

  • Have greater control
  • More fulfilling lives
  • Can navigate the system
  • Get what they need

How we work

Our team members value our company’s determination to make a genuine difference in the lives of people with disability.

The top reasons our employees join our company are:

Purpose driven 1

We’re purpose-driven

We’re focused on improving people’s lives. Our purpose is to support people to get more out of life today, and we use purpose to inform our strategic and operational decision-making.

Having a strong sense of collective purpose that’s grounded in humanity is a big drawcard for our employees. We all want to work this way because having a higher purpose is just as important to us as base salary and benefits.

Our purpose gives us all something to work towards every day, makes our work feel more meaningful, and motivates us to contribute to something worthwhile – people with disability.

Start up 1

Our start-up culture is inspiring

We believe how we approach our work is almost as important as the work itself.

Our workplace is a positive, supportive, collaborative place where we develop close relationships, trust and empower our people and seek to recognise all that they contribute.

A defining trait of our start-up organisation is the strong sense of mutual purpose that people feel here, as our experienced therapists work to support one another for the best possible outcomes for our participants.

Our therapists regularly circulate questions and suggestions, knowing colleagues will pitch in with great ideas or the right contacts, and the most likely response from our managers will be to “have a crack at it”.

Respect 1

We make a difference

Our therapists are passionate about growing our new business. Their enthusiasm and commitment has led to increased demand for our responsive, respectful, empowering provider services.

Today we are in more demand than ever before, as we grow our teams to meet demand and help more people in need get more out of life today.
