NDIS Therapeutic Supports Provider
Emily is a seasoned Senior Occupational Therapist with a wealth of experience, and a strong foundation in the healthcare field. Her most recent role was as a Technical Advisor at the NDIA, in the Technical Advice and Practice Improvement Branch. Drawing upon her extensive background as an occupational therapist, she provided clinical advice to inform decision-making at the Administrative Appeals Tribunal and in the internal reviews process. Emily’s role was multifaceted, involving the analysis of various reports, offering technical advice, and actively engaging in conciliations and tribunal matters in order to explain her clinical reasoning & recommendations.
Prior to this, Emily worked for 5 years at Vision Australia with a diverse caseload, eventually specialising in paediatrics. In this role, she provided tailored services to individuals who are blind or have low vision, often in the context of complex or comorbid physical, cognitive, and mental health diagnoses.
In her current role with Ability Action Australia, Emily can:
